My private practice is based at the Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital. Your consultation (outpatient visit), any procedures and operations (in-patient care) performed as a part of my private practice will be at the Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital.

 

It is not a must to be referred by your GP, but a referral letter form your GP would be useful.

Your consultation will start with a detailed history followed by an examination (if required). The examination will include an internal examination of the vagina with the use of a speculum (speculum examination) and fingers (bimanual examination). A chaperone will always be present at the time of examination. If an internal scan (transvaginal ultrasound scan) is required, I will personally perform this at the time of the examination. I will explain the procedure as I proceed with the examination and explain the findings. 

 

I am 'fee assured' and work with all the major insurance companies including BUPA, AXA-PPP, AVIVA, SIMPLY HEALTH, WPA and others. Please ensure that you have obtained a pre-authorisation prior to any consultation or procedures. Lucy will take your details and process it further.
